Will I have a tutor to help me?
Yes of course. You can study your course in your own time, at your own
pace, yet with the support and peace of mind of a trained tutor being only
ever a phone call or email away during normal business hours. Tutorial
support is provided by our own UK. based dedicated tutors, and is
available between 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank and public
holidays. Of course you can email your tutor at any time you want.
Who will be my
tutor?
That depends on which course you enrol upon. Your tutor is usually
assigned to you once you have enrolled, and you will be given all their
details at that time.
How long do I have
to complete my course?
All of our courses consist of
around 200 hours study, and are designed to be totally flexible. They can be
completed at your convenience, and there are no time limits.
What qualifications do I get?
All courses lead to a Level 3 Diploma issued by National Home Study, which
is comparable to an NVQ or similar. This is well recognised both for
employment and for higher study.
How is my work assessed?
Each course will contain a number of marked assignments, which you
can complete at home, and at your own convenience. Once completed, you can email or post
your assignments to your tutor for marking. The grades for
these are then taken towards your overall grade for the course. Work you
complete which does not achieve the pass standard, is returned to you with
helpful comments, pointers and advice, so that you can correct and then re-submit the
work.
What's included in the course cost?
Once you have decided which course you wish to study and enrolled with us,
Direct Home Learning will provide you with everything you need to
undertake and complete the course from enrolment through to achieving your
diploma. This will include all required course materials, tutorial and
administrative support, course work assessment and the issue of your final
diploma on completion. There are no hidden extras.
How do I pay for my course?
When you enrol, you will be
charged just £195 per course. There
are no other additional charges. See below for equivalent guide prices in
euros and dollars.
Enrol online:
when you are ready to enrol, simply click on the "enrol now" option by the
course of your choice, and
our online enrolment process will then take you through
to our secure payment facility where you will be able to complete a secure
transaction using your credit or debit card. You will be charged just
£195. Once your payment has been made, you will receive an email
confirming your order.
Enrol by telephone:
have your course details and credit card details to hand, and simply call
us. We'll process your enrolment "live" whilst you are on the phone. This
is also an ideal opportunity to ask us any further questions you may have.

Can I study from abroad?
Yes, very much so. We are a global study network and have students all over the world. Courses can be completed from
anywhere via email and the internet. You can still post us your
assignments too if you wish.
Do I have to take an exam at the end of
the course?
No. Assessment is by marked course work, completed at your own time across
the duration of your studies.
