Overview:
A popular and comprehensive course for those
looking to gain a deeper understanding of the workings of the human mind,
with the aim of helping people deal with the more serious problems and
anguish in their life. With our psychology and therapy course, you'll gain
a wide range of important skills, necessary to work as a therapist and
perhaps set up your own therapeutic practice, helping clients deal with a
wide range of severe emotional disorders and behavioural problems.
All the fundamental skills and techniques
are covered, including psychological development and models of behaviour,
behavioural and emotional disorders, therapeutic skills and effective
therapeutic responses. There are a number of case studies to work through,
as well as practical advice on setting up your own practice.
Support:

Assessment:
This course includes a number of tutor marked assessments
that you complete as part of your coursework and then forward to your
tutor. These consist of tasks and short questions on specific topics
within the course.
